In 1968, Giuseppe Righetti, now Honorary President,
inaugurated the first Bugnion Office in Italy; in 1984
Bugnion became independent from the other European
companies bearing the same name.

Before, and especially
since that date, Bugnion has gradually but steadily grown
both in terms of staff and proliferation of offices, until it can
today justly boast a presence extending throughout the
industrial heartlands of the Italian peninsula.

Now, thanks to this capillary structure, clients can rely on
a prompt, complete and continuous service, so that they
are not only provided with rapid consultancy from Bugnion's
professional staff, consisting of Patent Attorneys, Trademark
Attorneys and Attorneys at Law (graduates in various scientific, legal, economic and linguistic sectors) , but can work safely, aware that they will be constantly updated as to the progress and protection of their property.

Not satisfied with being self-contained, Bugnion has over the years developed close working relationships with a large number of external specialists, so that every possible assistance can be proffered, within and beyond Italy, to its clients.

Our Foreign Department was established in Milan in 1984, within the structure housing the General Management. We are proud to say that in the course of these years it has consolidated the gained expertise, leading to a considerable increase in the number of our overseas clients.
The Foreign Department was created as a separate entity to cater to the needs of all our foreign colleagues and clients interested in intellectual and industrial property activity in Italy and the European Union. It handles all cases coming from abroad.

During the course of these years we have gradually established close contacts with some of the industry's most prestigious names. We have cooperated with illustrious colleagues from all over the world, both Industrial Property Agencies and Law Firms.

Now more than ever the new realities of the European Community and the development of the international market call for strict worldwide cooperation where no bounds exist anymore and free exchange of high quality services is the same in every corner of the world.
